18^th March 2017, Country Club, Bangalore

Holi Milan on the 18th March at Country Club. Back to the family event and around 100 family members gathered around for playing with colours, some music and get together.

4^th March 2017, Hotel Park Plaza, Bangalore

SEE on 4th March was organised with specific focus on Health and Education. Number of speakers representing the sectors spoke on what shall make the businesses sustainable. Focus was also on the metric defined for the Social impact and the measures for the metrics. The SEE event was also supported by IIT KGP for participation and execution.

17th December 2016, Marriot Whitefield, Bangalore

Hackathon as precursor to SMC on the 10th December at Mantra labs. This was supported by IBM for consideration of support in development for the winning teams. Around 18 members participated for the 3 prizes to be won. Building on the previous SMC’s, the 6th SMC was organized with combination of workshops and the speaker’s sessions, 1 on 1. Key speakers included Prof Phani, Saurabh Chandra, Ashok Madhukar. The event also has the event key note by Amitabh Kant, MD for Niti Aayog and was followed by Dinner. There were around 600 attendees at the event.

12^th Nov 2016, ITC Infotech Park, Bangalore

Diwali Dhamaka on 12th Nov. Around 475 people attended this event at ITC Infotech Park. This involved participation from the other institutes like IIT KGP , IIT Bombay. Some of the key highlights involved the DWI band performance, the dance performance from Rhythmic team, and dance floor opened for the all the alums and the family.

3^rd Sep 2016, Brigade Club, Bangalore

Bulla ’16 was organized on 3rd Sept at Brigade Club as a family event. 85 family members attended the event. It involved participation from the families to display the paintings, Pottery and magic show for the children, Karaoke for the attending members. Overall a fulfilling day.

17^th June 2016, Hotel Park Plaza, Bangalore

SEE was held on the 17th June at Hotel Park Plaza. First Social entrepreneurs and enterprise event was organised to look to focus on social enterprises and how one creates sustenance around them. Two key scaling options were considered, scaling up franchising or funding. Around 175 people attended the session.

 26th Sep,2015. Symbiosis SIBM, Bangalore

SMC 2nd edition was held at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Electronic City, Bengaluru. It built upon the success of first event held in Jan 2015. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Subrata Mitra (Accel Partners) after the welcome speech by Mr. Pradeep Bhargava. Eminent speakers shared their knowledge interactively with attendees . About 130 one on one sessions were held with the registered participants. 10 startups were selected for the SMC Select session from a list of 74 aspirants. A reverse pitch session was held for the investors to discuss their areas of interest.

25th Jan 2015, XIME, Bangalore

This was the beginning of a long journey of SMC. The 1st edition was held at XIME campus on 25th Jan, 2015 in association with XIME. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Michael Jones (CEO Science Inc.) and the welcome address was given by Mr. Pradeep Bhargava. Eminent speakers shared their knowledge interactively with attendees . About 42 one on one sessions were held with the registered participants. 10 startups were selected for the SMC Select session from a list of 40 aspirants and three were declared winners of the same. The first edition gave us the confidence to make it a permanent event and subsequently it spread pan India. One on One sessions was the main feature liked by the attendees.
