Overview : SMC 3rd edition was held at Hotel Marriot, Whitefield on 27th Feb, 2016 in association with Alumni association of IIT Kharagpur. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Suarabh Chandra (Ex-secretary GOI DIPP) after the welcome speech by Mr. Pradeep Bhargava. In this edition, SMC came out of its infancy and was organized at a large scale in a hotel. Eminent speakers shared their knowledge interactively with attendees and workshops were held in parallel tracks. About 120 one on one sessions were held with the registered participants. 10 startups were selected for the SMC Select session from a list of 55 aspirants and three were declared winners of the same.
