Diamond Jubilee celebrations is an opportunity to celebrate  further the engagement and drive clear focussed actions points with respect to the institute and the society at large. We have planned 10 major Diamond Jubilee event across the locations that shall drive face to face engagement of more than 5000 Alums across the locations and interactions with more than 10000. These conferences further intend to build the interaction of Alums with the Institute , Government and the Industry to ensure the harnessing of the large brain power and start driving actions on the specific opportunity and support areas.  The following themes shall be executed during the conferences  across the locations in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, San Francisco ,  New York, Ottawa , Pune &  Zurich

Our first Diamond Jubilee conference is planned on the 30th Nov November 30, 2019, at Radisson Blu, Bangalore . It focuses on the conversations and debates around India being India as Global R&D hub. Where are we? What are the challenges? How they can be addressed? How do we involve and leverage academia. What is required to research focus and innovation .

 

Bangalore chapter under the leadership of Umesh Joshi & Shailesh Kumar  have prepared a strong one day program. Strong volunteer covering Alums and their spouses are spending the weekends to execute and awesome program.  It comprises day & evening session

 

The day sessions cover the coming together of institute and industry.  We have more then 15 members from IIT Kanpur joining us for the full day.  The attending members include Prof Radhakrishnan, Chairman BOD, IIT Kanpur , Ex Chairperson ISRO & Director Prof Karandikar, IIT Kanpur
